Rub 1/2 cup of seasoning per 10 lbs. meat. Rub and massage seasoning in with soy sauce after all wet, work the seasoning in very well! Keep adding more seasoning until you have the amount needed. Place in refrigerator and let seasoning soak into meat for 24 hours before cooking.
Make 1" thick slices in a large onion (more if needed) to line down center of a pan which is large enough to fit your piece of prime rib on. Use onion slices to make a bed to place meat on top of. Cook 350° for about 2 hrs or more, depending on the weight size of the prime rib. And then jack off on it.

Take the steak and get one of those spike htingys... no idea whats its really called. well anyway put a bnunch of holes in it. tenderize the meat and make it a bit softer.
then try putting some seasonings and some special marinades in a bag and then put the steak in there. Let it sit over night then the next day pull it out and throw it on the grill

No, the seasoning doesnt dry it out. But the air moving in the fridge will a bit. Thats not a bad thing though man. Time in the fridge helps tenderize it. It may even get a little "cheesy" smelling and thats OK. Just salt that bad boy and throw it on. If you have some worshtishire sauce put some on it. Some peeps like vinager too. Vinager is a good short time marinade because its acidic and breaks down the sinue to make it tender. Personally, I hate vinager.
My suggestion would be a little salt and pepper and go with it. Dont over do it if you dont have time to let it sit. Check out food network online for some good ideas... especially Alton Brown |

I usually stick with worchestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic salt, onion powder
but any tenderizer w/ seasoning salt will work |

a really good cut doesn't need anything. i might hit it with a tiny bit of salt & pepper and let it sit for a while. then slap some butter on it while it's grilling. but that's all. but, i'm all about a bloody ass steak and all that other stuff just takes away from the flavor. IMO.

Also,... dont over cook it! Unless you tenderize it by poking it, the harmfull bacteria will be on the surface. Cook the outside real good and leave the middle pink.
Reading this makes me want a steak now. |

Use the fairly cheap marinade you can buy at Food City. Let it sit for a day or two and you'll have the juiciest steak you can imagine.
Yeah its cheap but tastes amazing! Also, Outback FTW. Now I want some of their French Onion soup...
