Got A Free Shotgun


howdy, been a while since i've been on here. i just got a shotgun for free during my adventure through the junk in our shed. it's a 12 gauge pump action but i don't know what make for it's rusted. what do i need to get this gun cleaned up?

if its really rusted,take it to a gunsmith. never wanna take a chance on something like that

post some pics, you can take some steel wool and re blue it yourself, which it being your first time will not look that pretty, or pay a gunsmoth to do it. need to make sure there is not a lot of pitting in the metal also

Definitely take it to a gunsmith and have them look it over. They may be able to salvage it if the rust isn't too bad. Plus they can reblue all the metal parts for you.
