I don't think it's that bad. I certainly am one of the worst offenders at going overboard with dirty humor, but I am not vying for attention or trying to be sick for the sick of being dirty. In the clubhouse? Yes, perhaps. But the tech threads usually do a pretty good job of staying on topic, and I for one try not to go off topic in those threads, and I spend a good deal of time researching stuff and helping out other members when i can.

to a certain extent, i agree that we get out of hand sometimes, but then again, this is why MM is more popular than most other sites - the fact that we can get away with that kind of stuff. personally, the MAIN reason i joined this site, and stayed on this site is because it doesn't just involve the everyday run of the mill car talk. i enjoy the fact that we can talk about this kind of stuff too. from now on i'll try to keep it in the underground though.
