For those following along with the epic tail of my exhaust, I took it to a local shop today to get it done and a bolt connecting the manifold to the cat broke. A few months back the cat broke off and I got it fixed and the guy that fixed it is freakin retarded and the bolt went in crooked. As they were taking the stock exhaust off, the bolt broke and he spent an hour and a half just trying to get it to work. So...

Tomorrow morning I have to take it to a shop just down the road and drop it off and the guys at the shop are going to give me a ride to school. Its going to cost $100 to get the bolt out because of the location of it (passenger side) and its a pain to get to, thats IF it doesnt break anymore. If it breaks anymore, they are going to have to get down in there and it could cost ALOT more.

After they get that done, they are taking it back to the original shop down the road and he said it will take him abuot an hour-2 hours to get teh exhaust on there costing $45 an hour. So in the end it is going to end up costing me about $200.

So, right now im running open headers and it is insanely loud and im not driving anywhere for the night. Cant risk frying the pistons, haha.

Yes, it has been a pain, but in the end, $200 isnt that bad of a price...haha. Im trying to look on the bright side.

that sucks if i lived colse i would have done that for like 20 bucks or a case of beer.

hell if you drive up here id charge you 5-10 depending how hard it was
so that would leave you with 190 for gas

Paying a shop to do this is such a waste of money...

oh I might mention I had a custom exhaust built and welded into place in 45mins by my shop including a custom h-pipe lol talk price with them

If I had gotten him to help, we would have spent 2-4 hours realizing that the bolt was broken off and we would haev to take it to a shop anyways.

And I think once he starts actually working on the exhaust, he'll realize it wont take him very long.

Or the exhaust shop broke the bolt on purpose to draw more money from you...quit making excuses and get that shit done! sheesh
