Hey guys so I went and turned in my application and the guy said he would call me in a day or two for my drug test and my physical...

So today is day #2 and I'm leaving around 5 to go to WV but will be back tomorrow...

So before I leave I'm thinking about dropping by and seeing whats up, if he cant schedule it yet or what? I'm kinda thinking he might not have been able to read my hand writing very small space for my phone #...

So do you guys think this would be ok, or you think i would look dumb or what?

Thanks guys I'm only 19 so I'm still learning about the whole job thing, the reason I ask is cause I really really need this job.. But don't want to look desperate...

I said monday because most jobs are m-f

if you would be working weekends go ahead and call on saturday 9-10 am.

a little tip..
don't call friday afternoons or monday afternoons and don't call during lunch hours .. lunch hours range from 11 am to 1:30 pm

When I said call tomorrow morning, I meant Monday morning. I've been working weekends for 20 years, so I have no semblance of gregorian spacial relationships. lol

Cuz they're busy as fook and trying to get home, and they will blow you off/tell you to call back/forget you called.

Yes, Sir I was here on Wensday and the manager said he would call me in a day or two for my drug test and physical test, I was just seeing what was going on? Mainly because I didnt know if he could read my phone number?

think about it this way.. you worked hard all week and the last thing you want to do is talk to an eager new hire on a friday afternoon. you just want to go home.

Alot of jobs see if you are ambitious enough to call THEM back. It shows that you are interested.....but give it more than 2 days. I didnt get a call back where i currently work for more than 2 weeks.

how about something like this..

Yes, Sir I came in for an interview on Wednesday and was supposed to receive a call back today and Didn't. I just wanted to check my paperwork to see if the phone number I put down was correct as I will be out of town for the next 3-4 Days in case he wanted to contact me for the Drug screening
