exactly. nitrous is legit hp, but i am not a strong fan on street applications simply because it isnt there all the time no matter what without refills. for the track, on proper setups, nitrous alone or coupled with other poweradders is the best way to get more power.

AB - I agree. On the track there's nothin better, I'm sure I could seriously improve on my 13.8 w/no2. Guess I'm just tired of seeing guys w/their camry's running on juice alone saying their car's the $hit 'cause they know how to push a button.

Why would nitrous not be real horsepower? I guess heads, compression and cams don't make "real" horsepower either.

to each their own, but I know some guys out there that have a supercharger on their car and are making the same HP but 40 less ft/lbs of torque.

I dont know where the myth that nitrous is cheap comes from...

I spend about $200 per trip to the track, on nitrous alone. Do that twice a week and it adds up fast.

You'll never catch me out on the street without a bottle hooked up and within arms reach.

well then over time, a full-time poweradder is not only street legal, but cheaper due to no need to refill all the time

"cheap hp" just refers to bang for buck... for that much hp gain, it's inexpensive when comparing to turbo/s/charging. yeah, hp definitely doesn't come cheap, lol

Nothing wrong with a turbo or supercharger. I just prefer the bottle.

Also...Who said nitrous isnt street legal???

Thats just retarded. How is having a nitrous bottle hooked up any different than having a 500 rwhp turbo or supercharged car?
