Just waxed headlights.
My headlights were REALLY foggy. A friend of mine recommended waxing them. So, I take my wax, rub it on said headlight, let sit for 10 min. while I made a pizza, took wet rag and washed of headlights, turned lights on, and bam.
They seemed ALOT brighter than they were, but they were to the point where I could barely see 15 feet infront of me if there are no street lights. Did it actually do anything or is it just my imagination hoping that it did, haha. |

I polish mine with ultra finish. Meguiars also makes a product for that as well: meguiars.com: E-Store /Consumer (Meguiar's Brand)>Clear Plastic Care
Waxing them then helps protect them. |

The brightness is from the light hitting the wax. However, wax puts a film on the headlight which in turn probable caused the losss of light penetration

Ah, ok, sweet.
Doc. I checked the bumper. NO cracks or any small scratches even. Perfect condition. |

Speaking of bugs, every year we get these fun little visitors called love bugs. Well, they get on your front bumper and such and if you dont clean them off like, that day, then little bits and pieces DO NOT go away. I have washed my car 7-8 times and SCRUBBED the front bumper. Nothing. Any ideas?

If you just keep your car some what clean (wash every 2 weeks atleast) then you shouldn't have a problem with plastics getting fadey...
