Did anyone watch the show PINKS last night on SPEED TV. They gave this one kid with a mustang a 5 or 6 car lead and he still lost. To a chevy powered rice burner

yeah that mustang was a piece of shit, couldn't keep the damn thing from catching on fire. Well you can take a piece of shit and try to make it fast and if you succed all you have is a fast piece of shit. It was just embarrasing. They need to donate the car to a scrap yard

I know a few of the guys that were on the team with the 240. George, the driver, Brian, he provided the engine. They just took 4 shops around pittsburgh and put together a cheap car worthy of pinks. One shop provided the engine, another the chassis, another the drivetrain, and then whatever was left. They spent a full day and a half getting it together right before the race because of engine problems. The team they were going to race also had engine problems. They found the guy with the mustang in the parking lot and he said he was willing. They ended up not even using the nitrous all the way through I was told. They ended up spotting them 11 lengths and still ran it down.

no they actually didn't use it all the way through. Just because they made them disconnect it doesn't mean they used everytime. They never needed it. All of the races were N/A

That Mustang was a POS. There was no way they should have been paired up. If they could have kept the car running on the big end instead of catching on fire it might have been a race. Very poor showing.

yeah I saw the actual footage of the wholeday on the pittsburgh forum, when they found out the other team wasn't going to show, the host of pinks whatever the hell his name is was telling them that they would have to go home even though they just spent all that time and money getting the car ready. But they found that POS mustang and the guy made it out to be more than what it was and said he was willing.

Didn't hurt that he had an LS Juan under the hood of the 240. Wait till the fourth season. You will see a datsun that owns people asses! I am not a fan of GM but the LS1 is a VERY solid motor not to be laughed at...

They are suppose to start with a new forum Nov 23rd. More heads up racing maybe that will improve the show. They had Big Daddy Don Garland on last night. I think he is in charge of the track.
