newly finished kimber 1911


Discussing newly finished kimber 1911 in the The Clubhouse Forum. just got it all buttoned back up tonight. been refinishing it for about 1 week ...

newly finished kimber 1911

just got it all buttoned back up tonight. been refinishing it for about 1 week now. still need to install the sites, but i need a gun smith to do them because they are so freaking tight. anyways the color on the frame and slide is magpul flat dark earth, and all of the controls are combat black. i might take it out tomorrow to see how she shoots. before i started on it, the frame was really scuffed up, and had tons of wear from holster use, so i decided id clean it up a little bit and make it look good. also should i go ahead and duracoat the barrell the same combat black?

same gun here too, except with rail


I would keep the barrel stainless because everytime you shoot it, you will have to duracoat it again

This one is mine! Well not mine mine, but you get the point. I don't own a camera.
I am a lefty so ambidextrous safeties is a must.

I am looking for a good laser/ light on the bottom. You can't go wrong with surefire. Any other brands?
