Avatars.....

ok so im getting pissed at the whole avatar thing. I have one that i have ben trying to add but get errors saying that it is too big of a file. But when i compare it to one of Jugs old ones it is roughly the same size so i dont get it. It is under the 120x120 px also....

any help?

i did and it says that is has to many frames.....and then with another one that is let me resize it still wouldnt work. i have tried photobucket, imageshack and many more with no luck

gif and bmp are pretty big, there is a free program that I like call Irfan, but I dont think it will work on gifs. if your pixles are the right size it could be rejecting you because of the kb size

Download IrfanView

after you download it open the picture and go to image resize/resample

I'd say its the kb (Kilobyte) size, not the avatar's dimensions. If the gif is animated, it's like having *many gifs in one* that get played like in cartoon "cell" animation. Try shortening the animation. That should do the trick for you.

^i know this (not said in a pissy manor) But JUGS' avatars are bigger in kb than mine that i want to use. Is it just because he is a mod that he has removed the restrictions for them to use?

Nope...We are still under the same restrictions...

Are you trying to upload it or are you hosting it from another site?
