Hey all you bicycle guys

I'm gettin back into BMX and I'm sick right now so I'm going along making my build list up right now, and was wondering what all you guys have. Pics please. I need some ideas for what I'm gonna go with. I'm not gonna be doin a lot of tricks or anything, just the occassional actual bike session. Mostly it's for gettin me from a to b in a distance that is ridiculous to drive, but dont feel like walking.

i want to buy a bmx bike too....cause i hate mountain bikes....and you can do tricks on a bmx bike. Of course i wont be going off jumps and shit....but street is really fun....especially in the city.

just get handle bars and walk down the street holding them in front of you pretending you're riding a bike.. that's what i do

Yeah it is. I just chose the frame I want. Goin with the Mutiny Sinister frame. I realized I forgot a lot of stuff, and can't decide on the headset whether to be integrated or standard. but I'm reading on it now, and integrated is looking great to me.

my brother used to be really good. He used to go to Philly and places in NY to do street. Made lots of cool videos.

I like mountain bikes way more than BMX bikes because they are way more comfortable and if you buy a good one you can still do jumps.

i rarely am ever sitting on a bmx. I only sit when im just bein lazy or not moving. i sometimes sit when im pedaling, but not usually.

ok with my experience with them i always had gyro style braking systems. Is there a way to not have a gyro brake system and still be able to bar spins, and such?

ummmm no front brakes maybe????

i always took the front brakes off, but had the rear brakes using the gyros.

Forks: Drive Lite
Front Wheel: Sun Rhynolite rim laced to Demolition Bulimia Hub 36H
Cranks: Profile Racing Ti Spindle Spanish Bottom Bracket
Pedals: Sun
Sprocket: S&M Tuffman 25 tooth
Rear Wheel: Odyssey 7-KA laced to Demolition Anoxeria Cassette Hub 36H

Thats my setup love my bike All in All it cost about 2,100 dollars somewhere around there.. It could get expensive fast..

integrated headset and regular will depend on the frame that you get... and you can do still do barspins with rear brakes but i ride brakeless like it alot more..

I ride a MTB right now but am looking into getting a BMX to fool around with, I saw a big BMX bike lol, not the regular size but a MTB size it was pretty cool
