my buddie had a truck just like that in high school except his was a short bed and he ragged the piss outta that thing in the mud it had a 300 as well that thing would dig man let me tell you

the motor in stock form is only about 140hp.. but it has 275 ft pounds or so.. the granny gear and 4x4 is what makes them pulling trucks.. the inline motor doesn't hurt either. lol
the 4.9 is known to be able to take a bullet and keep going
