as an owner of an 86GT, i don't think we get enough publicity. we are shunned by the mustang community for being a little different. of course i'm kidding about that.

but...

i'd like to see a 4-EYE ROTM. i know this is pretty far fetched, seeing as there aren't enough nice ones here (atleast not that i've seen) to make it to make it worth while. mine is a piece of crap. but, i'd like to see all the 4-eye guys we have here. i only know of maybe 5 or 6.

post ya pics. i wanna see what my car COULD be.

i'm gonna leave it 4 lug for now. my wife told me she'd buy my rims and tires. pretty badass, huh? but she wants me to get all black cobra r's. i want the ones with the polished lip. i'm pretty sure i can still get her to pony up the dough. i really don't want her to spend her own money on my car. but she insists. i'm trying to save up to get the mechanical issues fixed before i do anything to the looks. and, that picture doesn't do justice to how many problems there are on the exterior. all the black trim needs to be re-painted. the 1/4 window sails came off of a damn capri. so those need to be replaced (cause i hate them) and the molding around the car needs to be repainted as well. the actual paint on the car is pretty solid. it's only like 2 years old.

as far as the other shit. i need new seats. and i hate the grey parts on the dash. i repainted the dash, black. it was wearing off. it was originally red. and one of the previous owners converted everything to black. all of the plastic inside needs to be redone. they didn't change the headliner or visors. but it doesn't look too bad. i'm probably just going to leave them red. i'm really not going to put too much effort in to making it look good. i'm more worried about making it go fast. it's got what (on paper anyway) seems to be a pretty good setup. but i can't dyno it to find out until i get all the bullshit worked out.

i'm ready to put it on the rollers and see what i get out of it. anyone have any kind of a rough estimate....

(assuming of course that it's in good running condition)
