i have 245s for street tires they kinda suck but it might take you a couple of passes to get it down to where you won't just roast them off

if you do a search i have posted some very good advice for people going to the track for the first time, here is a small hint, don't worry about reaction time, it doesn't effect your over elapsed time. And please for god sake if you are on street tire drive around the water box and do not do a burnout, just spin the tires over about 5 rotations just to brush the rocks off, and if the car spins, don't do what 90% of the other dipshits on the site does and keep it to the floor, let out and feather the gas

Ok done with the first run. 14.53 at 98.3 mph. With a 2.35 60ft. I drug the clutch out at 2 grand and she didn't spin, I'm gunna try at 3 grand next. I'm shifting at 6grand is that ok?

some people actually say to shift lower rthan 5500 with your car. What kind of gears do you have? If you had slicks your car is capable of mid 13's without a doubt.

Second and last run.
1/4 mile, 14.20
60ft, 2.12
MPH, 98.61

Shifting at 6100, and feathering the clutch at 3200rpm, not too bad what do you guys think

My advice: Get a more sturdy clutch, some 3.73's and MT ET streets. Then beat the shit outta that whore!

And do what The Real Shocker said. Practice your ass off!!!

Happy times bro!

Yep.. But avoid a solid hub clutch... Unless you like lightswitch engagement. You will HATE it on the street. I did that in my car. I've gotten used to it now, but it was a BITCH to drive right after I first did it.
Find a clutch that still has the Marcel spring in it...
