Blown motor

Yup, havent said anything, hit up the track last night 1/4. through a 11.6psi spring in the wastegate still no dyno tune. threw 1 gallon of 110octane

first past 12.7 @ 115mph and 2.2 60ft-bogged
second pass
1.7 60ft 7.7 1/8 then forgot to shift outta 3rd because i finally saw i nailed my launched,felt like the wheels were gona lift

then looked down 6100rpms and climbing then 1 hard knock and finally the boom.
smoked poored all over, oil of course on the track

damage-cracked the head to hell. oil pan has a hole and i believe theres one in the block.
costed $478 to toe me from the track an hour and 40min back to my house.
managed a 7.7 1/8th mile though

had firewall quad, quick release and adjustable cable and upper and lower control arms i put in monday
i shoulda stayed at 8.7

I've literally loss maybe 1 race since ive had my turbo put in. maybe 5 if you include track time

ive had people talk shit AT Tower shop car meet(ls1 guys and lt1) and after a brief street call out they some how dont make it back to towers

not one person has talked shit or said ANYTHING bad about my setup talking directly with me. but i hear all around my car is a waste, V6 is a waste etc...

i do build motors you know

i never told anyone about the uppers and lowers nor the side motor ive been working on after my tranny blew

the motor is already in the car getting broken in

oh btw the motor is 8:2:1 compression
special port heads by me with bigger valves and ported upper and lower intake
SCAT forged rods
and 4.2L crank...but its a 4.3L motor
218/218 camshaft in her for now
i put my 11.6psi spring and 8.7 together for dyno day

still, it's not the setup that was being trashed talked.

just here me out. Someone was talking shit about ur car. U blew the motor. U called them out. u put a new motor in ur car....

see where i'm goin with this?

thats like me calling out drgn and saying my stock pi motor would own him, and then pulling the motor and doing a termi swap

that motor was getting set to blow up. i just wanted to see if i could squeeze an 11 out of her stock..which with a 7.7 i sure as hell coulda

I'm sorry, but i dont see the point in purposely blowing up an engine. You and Matt have both said this and it makes no sense at all to me. But glad you both got what you wanted to happen. I'm sure it was sooner than both of you wanted too.
