2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 vs. 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt Comparison Test

its pretty interesting that the bullitt is only a hair away from being equal to faster than the challenger.

Those guys can't drive for shit. That Bullitt with a good driver could see 13.2-13.4. Stock GTs have run 13.6s and the Bullitt has 3.73s, CAI and exhaust with a 91 tune.

They should have compared the GT500 to the Challenger, but we'll leave that to the major automotive magazines.

That Challenger looks badass though. And it is gonna be a beast with that Track Pack.

I think the bullit was severly underrated there. it's a sexy car. I would like to get my hands on one.

Yeah with some serious weight reduction, the track pack, and a 6spd manual. it would be giving alot of us a ass whooping.

how much was a mach1 brand new?

i know the 03-04 cobras were $34-35000 i would imagine less than that?

$24,000-28,000 I believe I priced one in the fall of '03 I could bought an '03 comp orange 5 spd for 23,600 out the door. Could've bought a silver 10th anniv edition termie for 29,000 out the door. My mom wouldn't co-sign the loan on either. I got the mach still waiting to get my termie.

I could've bought a brand new loaded '04 5spd GT for $22K/ '03 for $19k, I ended up with powerstroke, I was such a dumbass back then.

They said that they didnt test the GT500 cuz they knew it would win against the challenger. But for 23 grand less ill take less than a half second off the slower bullitt. Spend 5 grand more on your bullitt and youll own the challenger and stilllh have money for gas!
