new speakers!

well i had my new speakers installed today! the front left sub was blown and the front right had a big hole in the speaker cover that looked really bad, so i got new speakers. they sound amazing. now im more careful not to go too loud with them.

I've been blasting my stock speakers all the time. I'm surprised they're still holding up.

when i first got it, i was messing with the bass and i accidentally turned the little volume nob too much(i was used to using a volume control with click buttons)... i think thats when it blew

my dad said i could get after market speakers and i pay all of it, or get ford speakers and he would pay like half... i got the ford ones

i dunno why he wanted the ford, so dont ask

im really surprised too ford did a good job with the speakers and the mach system, everyone asks if i have subs in the back

I'm amazed that mine are still holding up. They aren't even Mach and don't sound ALL that bad. Too bad they'll eventually be replaced with Infinity...

If you think the Mach 460 is good, you haven't heard the Shakers in the S197s. The shaker 500 is a big improvement, but the Shaker 1000 is amazing.

ya the 500 is amazing, but now im afraid of turning it up too much and blowing it again. what bass setting do u have yours on? mines in the middle.

well im pissed. my left front speaker(one of the ones they replaced) has some vibrating coming from around it.

im gonna take it back to them. I havent had the sound very loud since i had the speakers put back in, so it cant be blown, unless it was defective.

i just took mine from the middle to 1 bar below it.\

and i have kept the volume below 5 full bars, with the speed volume set on 2
