I get a phone call today from one of my buddies in RVA. Here's how the convo went.
Him:"Your coming to RVA to run at the strip this weekend right?"
Me:"Yea, why whats up?"
Him: " I got something thats going to wax that pretty little POS Mach1 of yours,"
Me: " POS, wtf, I had to put a bib on you when you saw it, what did you do to your 87 Fox that made it sooo fast??"
Him: "I traded it for a turboed civic hatch."
Me: "Are you f**kin jokin"
Him: "No, dude it's so much better than any Mustang will ever be!"
Me: "Ok, whats done to it?"
Him: "LS Turbo, T-4, full exhaust, intake, boost controller turbo timer, BOV, and a dyno tune."
Me: "Ok, so your just like everyone else who gets a honda, take a stock motor put a turbo on it and BAM its the fastest thing on the face of the f**kin planet!!"
Him: "You don't know anything about honda's man, you dont know the potential of it!"
Me: "I know that you know jack shit about a car, thats why I did all the work on your fox while you sat there and looked at me like holy crap your a genius!! If you think your cars faster than mine I'll see you at the strip. If your going to run your mouth and call me out after every single thing I did to help your sorry ass out, you better be ready for the ride of your f**kin life when I leave that line."
Him: "We'll see, I'll even put money up that I'll beat you!"
Me: "I'll see you at the track, and I'll try not to be so rough with your baby, I might actually use the oil it dumps out on the track after you throw a rod the the block because you overboosted your STOCK motor as lubrication for the ass raping your going to recieve." CLICK

I'm sooooo pissed off now that one of my best buddies pretty much said hey go f**k yourself even though you took time away from your family, job, personal life, just to help me out. Thanks to him I just ordered some DR's a shifter, and an aluminum driveshaft for the Mach 1. He's in for a rude awakening.

Specs on it are b18 DOHC out of a 91 Integra LS. Mods listed above in coversation. Another good buddy of mine has the same setup with a smaller turbo and that bitch will scoot. But the T-4 is too much turbo for a stock motor with no cams, or headwork at a bare minimum.

forgot to add, i'm a pretty damn good driver (not conceit it's just what my dad tells me and I run with it being that he is an old streetracer) BUT that doesn't mean that there wont be driver error. i've never ran anything at the strip other than my GT and the Mch is a whole helluva lot different. i'll manage though
