the sig is fixed now, when he first posted this there was a huge white bar at the bottom

no need to close it... from the pic I saw before he fixed it, the stang was lower than what it is now, like he was trying to get it to stick out of the sig... so he may want help to get it to do that...

sig looks good btw injected... did you make it? I know you mentioned you were getting into this kind of stuff...

yeah thanx for the gimp info yeah i was trying to make the front end stick out a lil bit how do you do that?? i made the original background transparent but it still came out white

well I don't think anyone has figured out how to get the transparency in .gif files to work right on here...

what I usually do is take a screenshot of MM, and use the color chooser to get the color of the background, and just fill the bottom with that color...

here's an example...

on the white background you can see the bottom part is just the color of MM, but when it's embedded here in the posts, that bottom part blends and you can't tell it's even part of the image

I've never used this gimp software, is it any good? I've always just gotten photoshop.

Right now I'm running Photoshop CS3.

no problem man, and for a first sig, that is really good... you definitely caught on real quick

I think I'll be making a write-up for the chopshop soon (since the mods asked a while ago for one, and I've just been lazy, haha). So keep an eye out for it, that might show you a few of my tricks...

I like it a little more than photoshop... mostly because the tools are a little more accessible... I've been trying out CS2, and have been completely lost, might be because I'm used to gimp, but idk... I use CS2 for the text in everything I do, cause I'm not a fan of Gimp's text tool, but everything else is done in Gimp

Gimp is open source, so completely free (and legal, haha).

GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program

may take some getting used to, but you can learn pretty quick just by google searching tutorials for it, and just messing around with the program...

that's good to know now... since the sigs I do know can only be used on MM because of the way I do it... thanks man...
