Its a change, not only are you going to a different environment but you are leaving a completely different one behind. It's hard to describe to your friends what you are going through or what it is like. Unless they were there, they would not understand. Instead of giving them all of the details, you simply tell them "this sucks" or "everything going good".
In the end, have fun and make the best of it!

^^^+100000 u need ur dogs take care of them change ur socks daily, its to damn hot for all that gear and everything else so cool balls help, and when the day is done u get the medicated gold bond and pour on ur balls and let the cool air do its work

when you get to the replacement batallion, just remember, no one there has been in the army more than 2 weeks. don't listen to a fucking word they say, they are all retards (i guess that'll include you 2 weeks from now). and make sure you everything the DS says as fast as possible and do it correctly... everytime.
