SVT Focus Fuel Pump
How much should i pay for one that has 15,000 miles? i found one on craigslist for 85 but i think thats a little high when a new one is no more than 115
I would of liked to buy the 310LPH instead of 255LPH like the Focus pump but the sniper tuner does not have an option for 310LPH |

the SVT focus pump i heard was good till about 400rwhp and the GT40 pump you have to do some stuff so it would work. the SVT pump is just plug and play pretty much
you have the gt40 pump right? |

$50 would be a good price if its just the pump. If its the pump and basket, $85 is a really good price.

... then why would you go with a 255 when a 310 is out there and roughly the same price...
majority of the pumps that are commonly offered for the V6 go as follow... 255-return 310-returnless ... i know there are other options but thats just kinda the norm ... or how ever you want to say it

Honestly i know nothing about the v-6 world...I dont see how your system would be any different than the v-8 world. 255lh is a returnless pump and would work fine. Haven't heard of the 310...fuel pumps are cheap if you max out a 255 or a svt pump or a gt pump then ya upgrade to a cobra setup.

yea im assuming that they are similar... its just the top flow ratings for each that i know of... is 255 for the return style found in the 94-97 and the 310 returnless found in the 98-04 ... and also current i believe

a 255lph fuel pump is good to 500hp, a 310lph is just a little more, im running a 350lph and it flows just about the same as a 255lph would but hold up better

ok well i only got one answer and it semi helped...
my first question is what should i pay for a SVT Focus pump that has 15000 miles on it. He is asking $85. and also the pump (not the basket) is all that i need correct.. i just drop it in my existing basket |

Well like i said before...$85 for pump and basket is a good price. $50 is a good price for just the pump. Yes you can drop your pump into your basket. One thing i do not recommend doing is cutting holes in the basket for more flow...you'll end up sucking up more garbage into your pump and can't run below 1/4 tank. Cutting holes is a cheater mod.
