Lope, Whine, or Whistle?

What do you prefer?

The nasty lope of a cammed out old muscle car or a 5.0 Fox maybe?

How about the scream of a twin screw at wide open throttle?

Or does the hiss of a turbo flying by really get the hairs on the back of your neck standing up?

Discuss and post videos of some examples to back your opinion if you can.

At work so i cant post vids. But on youtube is a vid of a silver Saleen. Begining of the video is a BADASS lope than the end you hear the whislte.

I got the lope now. Its good from a distance, but every damn time I go somewhere... Gets old after a bit.

Course, if I fix the header leak....

My mind thinks it loves the hiss of boost.

But nothing catches my attention faster than hearing a pushrod motor get rapped out to 7k rpm. That's the sound that you feel down in the sub-cockles of your heart, and stirs your soul.

Going to one of the American Le Mans races at Sear's Point, the sound that the C5Rs made coming down into the last hairpin was incredible. You couldn't breathe as they drove by from the sonic impact... your heart was forced to beat in sync with the rpms of those motors. I'll never be a Chevy guy, but that's one of the top 10 moments of my life, just feeling those motors as they drove by.
