95 hours of Rock

Our local rock radio station, 95 Rock with Lex and Terry, is holding a 95 hours of rock harvest called Can-A-Palooza on our city's main road. They have taken over a publix parking lot and are rocking out with live, unplugged performance for 95 hours (til Tuesday). no breaks, no bullshit, just rock. If you donate to the food drive, you qualify to win autographed guitars by disturbed, shinedown, seether, and a couple other bands. it is the 6th yr of this festival and it is pretty sick, i may head down monday or tuesday night since im working so much this weekend

I listen to Lex & Terry but they are Rock 104 here. Sounds like a good time.

cool, yea it is busy downt the main road and i have to go that way to get to work tonight. i guess ill leave a few minutes early- i love the outdoor festivals we have here. we had the Marshall Tucker Band and the Charlie Daniels Band play an outdoor commons concert this year and it is basically two square blocks of grass field downtown surrounded by sidewalks and vendors set up all around it. when we have outdoor concerts, we have a carshow in a close by parking lot and a live band on stage

Nice we do a thing here called light up Ocala. Around this time of the year they put christmas lights on all of the trees down town. Vendors, live music and we even make a ice skating rink. Not too bad of a time.

they act like augusta is their home lol. if it wasnt for music and arts, augusta would suck. we have killer museums and music venues, and a First Friday where downtown fills with art galleries and live music and food the first friday of every month all night long

you guys are lucky. my favorite radio station will be playing more than a month of straight X mas music. i dont mind it but not more than a month of it.
