Cant afford crap

yeah it does suck cause me and my wifes income is more than 100k combined and i am like fucking broke. But after i get my raise in another 2 months should be making more than 120k combined and will be out of debt. Good thing for me is i don't pay for gas in my truck at all.

I'm in the same boat man. Part of it surely because we're not the best with money. But everything is so fucking expensive nowadays it's awful tough to get ahead.

Yeah and the wife's car, and the house, and a few small toys, but no savings account other than my retirement investments. lol

yeah thats where i am screwing up, i don't have a dime in my savings besides a 401k. me and wife are really shitty with money also. When we see something we want we usually buy it, even though we don't need it. But i am proud of myself, i have not spent a dime on my car in over 8 months.

Yeah we're the same. We slowly get better over time, and we've always managed to pay off whatever we've bought, but we are horrible impulse spenders.
