All joking aside, she has a boyfriend. She's almost 18, so she's not a baby anymore. So hypothetically speaking if you were to meet her, and treated her and I with respect there would be no problems.

But for some reason when jokes fly about your daughter, it just gets your back up. You wouldn't be a good father if that didn't happen. lol

oh yeah man i feel ya kinda..my sis is 17 now..and i have had to straighten a few of her bfs out..the guy she is dating now is really cool though..never would harm her,..works hard and plus his dad has a 36FT middle console fishing bout we go on..it cost like 135 grand..his dad has money lol but hes not spoiled that much..believe me...

Cute kid - he def looks like a little man!

My little man just turned 16 last month. He was born with a full head of hair that stood on end like a bristle brush. Started wearing deodorant about kindergarten and started shaving at 12.

Can thank the growth hormones we feed our live stock these days.

They grow up way too fast -

Funny stuff Zip - I know exactly what you mean about protective feelings - it's something parent are (or should be) naturally ingrained with.

I'm not quite ready for the whole dating thing with my kids. May need advice on that some day. lol
