Meade 8" Reflector Telescope
I just got this on Ebay and picked it up for $292.50. Did I get a good deal?
Meade 8" Equatorial Mount Reflector Telescope. This telescope is great for the next step Astronomer up to the expert. It is large enough to gather an immense amount of light from even the darkest skies, and yet it is not too large to use in lighted areas. The equatorial mount allows you to set up the motor for the scope to follow the object you are watching so it doesn't constantly disappear from your view. It also allows you to take photos without blurring. Included: Meade Series 4000 Super Plossl 9.7mm Multi-Coated eye-piece Meade Super Plossl 26mm Multi-Coated eye-piece Meade 2X Telenegative Amplifier Air-Spaced Triplet - Multi Coated Model 140 Camera Adaptor Heavy-Duty Motorized Tripod Meade 6X 30mm Spotting Scope 8" Reflector Telescope This telescope is in excellent condition. I have had it for about 8 years. My kids have grown up watching Saturn and Jupiter. The Moon is so clear you start looking for the Apollo Rover they left behind! This telescope is large and heavy and would fit into several heavy boxes, so it would be better if you could pick up. I will offer shipping, but it will be high because it will be alot of work and expensive to ship. Your choice! PS: Horses not included! |

I got it for my 9 soon to 10 year old son. The bad thing about it is that you have to use it at night and its best when its cold as hell. If he don't like it I guess I can sell it on ebay.
