RC junkies

Ive always been big into RC stuff. I have planes, cars, boats and helis. No submarines or swap buggies or anything wild like that. All are easy to fly and for the electric stuff, the prices are cheap enough now where you can get them without wifey noticing the "dent" in the checking account. I have/had nito powered stuff but never a helicopter. I've only had electric helicopters because they have always been so unstable that you'd be a fool to buy one for $300 then just wreck it. Now that you can get cheap electric ones for $50 and you can actually control them, its been fun. After watching this video, it makes me want to go gas for sure. Even the easiest heli's are hard to handle. You have to do some major thinking really quick and know your machine.

This by far is the sickest display of skill I have ever seen. Even without knowing the amount of talent it takes to fly a heli in a straight line, you can see the skill this dude has. It absolutely insane. He does shit with fractions of an inch and makes the heli look like it defies aerodynamics.

hey I think I've seen that before. It's insane to be able to control it to do those things.

It looks like an older video but that is so incredibly hard to do. I couldnt even imagine the hours he's spent mastering that.

thats pretty cool.. i used to be into the rc stuff a lot, i have a t-maxx, e-maxx and a Jato. all are pretty cool but ever since i got into cars they have just sat there, i don't feel like working on them or putting money into keeping them running.

I generally stick with the cheap shit now that Im older. Ive been using my electric heli quite a bit lately. I have LEDs on it and its pretty cool at night. But they are cheap. My helicopter was $65 at flea market and I alreayd had a radio. I like rebuilding them after I crash them almost as much as flying them.

yeah cheap is the way to go. i've spent thousands of dollars on my R/C cars. theres way too many aftermarket parts for them. they are fun but they break the moment you stop paying attention. i got in a head on collision with my other buddie's r/c truck with my jato and it hasn't been fixed since. it was going over 45 mph when it happened lol

hey JA you wanna help me get my old RC monster truck working? well my brothers old one. i think it just needs a new battery but im not sure. both my brothers got one at the same time, one was like a dune buggy and the other was a truck. we used to take it to my grandparents house cause they lived in the country and there was a field across the way and they would jump them. its just sitting up in my attic. ill take it down tomorrow and take pics of it. i have been wanting to get it started again cause it was so much fun all those years ago. i think they were 300+ brand new

I have 2 cars (HPI Super RS4 and Traxxas Sportmaxx)... both broken... I think both need a new piston and sleave and the HPI needs a new reciver (got ripped off when my neighbor ran it over with his HPI Savage)

Hobby is to expensive though... and driving a real car is a lot more fun...
