Ladies!

(or possibly girly Fashionable Men such as FutureMach1Racer ,lol sorry.

I am going on a trip with my Family, to Oregon (goin by train.woo..hoo.) and we are gonna be doing some activities there (nothing too extreme as old people will be along). problem is I don't have any shoes that aren't sandals (thats CA for you) I have some Vans but they are worn out.

Let me first discuss my Issues.

1. I have a fairly swollen right ankle due to two separate accidents. So shoes like etnies..DC's ETC ..or any shoes with a good amount of "Fluff" inside, I can't wear because they rub. and even though I do like them I used to wear them all the time. I cant wear them now

2. I also have a high-ish arch.

I want something casual, and comfortable, slightly athletic (those usually have good arch support)But I don't want to look like I am about to play basketball, Or run a marathon.

lol ..now that I have ruled out like every shoe on the planet.. Any suggestions??

lol. I cant wear heels anymore either, so the like 65 pairs of them that I had, are no use to me anymore (after surgery , maybe I can wear them again)

from what you want out of the shoe i would have said skate sloes would be perfect but since you said they rub weird on you ankle then i have no idea

I have no idea.. I too am a sandal girl, so I have no idea when it comes to actual shoes. Maybe sketchers???

Sketchers, hmm I'll have a look at their website. I remember their shoes used to be disgustingly hideous but I see that they have changed that

I dunno what they have for girls but new balance makes some nice sneakers for guys that are great for walkin around in

I haven't bought sketchers since I was on like 8th grade. BUT I was at JcPennys the other day and saw the sketchers have stepped it up a few notches. They are pretty cute now.
