xbox cables
Which is better hdmi cable or the 5 colored cables for hdtv? Always wondered.... Not like my bedroom tv is big enough to matter anyways ha

doesn't component only do 1080i where hdmi can do 1080i and 1080p or something?

i think compenent is like 480 and hdmi is 720-1080

i thought that component went to 720p and hdmi goes to 1080p

They are like 40 bucks, dont think ill notice much difference on a 20 inch tv

on a tv of that size, dont worry about it lol. Do you have high def programming? IF not then the cables dont make a difference

Like calibrated for the xbox? no. My mom just got a 52 inch and its calibrated and i get wood every sunday i go down there for some halo3 action haha. She only has component cables too, bet hdmi would be awesome!

hdmi is the shit, going from hd cables to hdmi on my xbox made a huge difference

you said 20in tv so i was wondering since you were asking about cables and didnt say anything about xbox i thought you were just talking about tv programming. And so i was asking if you even had hd programming.
and for the 52in tv, i would like to have that lol. But with the component cables they still give a great picture. So unless you want the best out of it, it doesnt really matter. I still play on a 20in flat screen (not panel) with AV cables, doesnt bother me at all. what are the specs on that tv of your moms?

I dont even know the total specs of it since i didnt even help pick it out. But its a 52inch lcd 1080p. Cost like 3 grand... Amazing! haha
