Any IT people on here

Ok so I use a laptop issued by my company for personal things also. Recently they have added filters so that certain sites could not be accessed even when at home. Prior to this things would only get blocked when at work on the network. the problem is that images from this forum that people put up I can not see.

My question is there anyway around this? Is there something I can turn off and turn back on?

Not really. Not that it's not possible to do it, but if you bypass a filter or firewall, and your company has a policy against it, that could conceivably get you in trouble at work. I know my employer is strict about it.

while it is really possible to bypass those filters using an anonymous proxy (web proxy or software), I still wouldn't recommend doing it if your company has a policy against it like zip said. You might want to check in on that.

Ok thanks guys I was hoping for something that I could turn off but oh well. WE do have a policy here but they really do not do much about it. The only reason they have started cracking down is a Sales guy was downloading porn and got a virus. It spent 3 hours rebuilding his computer and sent it back to him. Guess what next 2 days later downloading porn again and got another virus. Because of him we all have to suffer.

I guess I just have to buy my own computer but that is less money to put towards Mods

At my old job, whenever I got online, it was through this "AT&T" thing. I got online through our "intra-net". The problem was that I could go anywhere I wanted but, it was all documented to use against me later! You know, going to odd sites was not an issue for them, they didnt care because sometimes our jobs required we went to odd sites. What they didnt like was, for example, going to ModdedMustangs for 3 hours during the middle of the day.
