Repairs In 5 Hours?

Does it seem strange to anyone on here that my car's bumper was replaced, painted, and exhaust straightened out in only 5 hours? I dropped it off this morning and they called me about an hour ago to tell me that it is finished. I just don't think that this is enough time to finish the job right....

unless they got a take off and cleaned it up nice i wouldn't trust that the bumper you are getting is freashly painted.

I agree. Paint takes a while to set. And you should not be able to wash a freshly painted car for a while.

They knew the car was coming in for a new bumper, and had the new one there. They told me it was the first car in this morning, and they put the bumper in the "oven" to help it dry faster. I checked it out just a minute ago and everything seemed fine and dry. The tail pipes are even and the paint matches perfectly.

It looks great to me, and if everything ends up like I hope it will I might take it back there to get the key scratch fixed! Oh yeah, the two outstanding holes I got in my front bumper from the great state of Texas, and the front license plate they require! I was just really suprised when he called me after only 5 hours, I was thinking that something had gone horribly wrong

sounds about right. The bumper only takes a few minutes to r&r. Paint about an hour and then a couple hrs under the lights. Also remember that one guy probably prepped the bumper, another one sprayed it and the 1st guy or someone else installed it.
