any help with a hurting arm????

well I was practicing softball with my team and I threw the ball hardest I could from 3rd to home to get the runner out and my arm started to hurt. I figured it was just a pulled muscle and figured it would be gone in a week or so. and that was 3 weeks ago. My arm feels fine then when I practice n throw the ball instantly tremendous pain in my arm. and it gets worse n worse more i throw. but when I bat it doesn't hurt that bad at all. Im assuming I tore some ligaments or something because it still hasn't gone away. anyone know what I should do? I have a double header tonight and I have to play. any suggestions on what to do and how to prevent it from coming back? Because having to throw hard then saying "FUCK" every time you throw kinda sucks!

You may have torn something. Thats gonna take time to heal, and you doing what you did to possibly tear it is not going to help at all.

I'm with Cricket on this one. Three weeks later, and still tremendous pain there sounds like a possible tear to me. Might be time to go have that thing sex rayed or run through one of those thingamijigs with the deals on them. Down by the place. With the stuff.

On a side note, you could just leave it as is, and be known as 'That fucking' 3rd baseman.

Go get some x-rays of the elbow, you more than likely just threw your arm out. But just in case go make sure nothing is torn in you elbow, youll pay later if you dont.

I just played a double header tonight.... Oooops! Heather & I are the managers and we have to play the ppl we have because team mates are not dependable! but I rubbed some goo on it today think it was some kind of muscle rub and it helped a lot! I played both games with my arm only hurting 1/4 of what it was before!

rice it.. you'll be thanking me later.. another member here had issues with his shins and I told him the same thing and he continued to push on and he jacked himself up and I got the " you were right it hurts like hell" PM. let your injury heal before playing again.
