shaft loop

would i need one with a vortech on my car when i go to the track? i know ill need a helmet but will i need a loopy loop?

Idk if you'll need one but I'll be pretty damn sure I'd want one just to be safe both in the sense as of safety requirement and to be safe if the shaft breaks off.

im just guessing but i think it depends on how fast ur car runs, like10 second cars need roll cages n shit or something???

yeah i know that, i was just wondering if people with my setup, like you have/had needed one when they went to the track or not. i dont know what kind of time my call will run

actually its needed at any track if you are running a 13.99 and quicker, so i guess worry about it now. Its only 35 bucks and only about 40 bucks labor to install

i don't have the 2008 rules but the 2007 rules are posted in the drag section. the loop will apply when you get in the 11.50 range but i don't think you will be in that region anytime soon

no not any time soon at all. when i get out of college and get a different car, this one will be a drag car. cause ill be putting in a new motor and everything.

Yeah, pretty much a loop is one the first mods to be considered after boltons. It's added peace of mind.
