challenger srt8 beats gt500

check out the current issue of motor trend....they are comparing the challenger srt8 to the gt500....and the srt8 comes out on top overall....the gt500 does beat it in quickness but only by a second or so and the challenger beats it in every other way...which is great cause the challenger is about 10 grand less so what does that mean? well with the rising gas prices and the fact that both camaro and challengers high end models will probably both beat the gt500 in overall test...i guess we can expect the gt500 to start a very steep drop in price...oh hell yeah next year is gonna be loaded with choices come time to buy a new car

whats really gay is that both the v6 challenger and the v6 camaro are gonna be giving the v8 mustang gt a hard time...THATS GAY...wtf is wrong with ford anyway?

I would still take a GT500 over a Challenger

Blown 5.4L Fully Forged 4valve > 6.1L Hemi

Haha, I just read the article and the GT500 outdid it pretty goodin the straigh line and beat it by a little in the twisties. The only reason they let the dodge win because it was $4,000 cheaper and they just liked it better but no reason stated

It's called marketing. They did that to spike the sales, lets face it peole aren't buying muscle cars with gas prices being so high, so by doing this they're try to draw up attention.

I don't believe Motor Trens, Road & Track, Car & Driver or any of them for that matter.

The only magazine's I trust are MM&FF, and 5.0 Mustang, and a few drag racing mags.

id rather have the challenger over the camaro anyday an the new style mustangs cause i think the dodge actually looks like a old muscle car...but id rather have the 99-04 body style,that sexy

my s197 is my third mustang...i've had the 2 previous gens...the new one blows them both off the map...new edge and sn95 dont hold a candle to the s197
