It's a mean world.
Does anyone else know of this? I live in an OK area, but nonetheless, ever since I bought my mustang, everyone is really mean to me. I get scowls constantly. People always ride my bumper and try to cut in front of me. I have a bad feeling that I'm going to get keyed at a gas station or something. This never happened before. Anyone else know what I mean?

yea i feel ya. i've gotten my car egged, my vinyl has been keyed, and if park outside people leave their empty cups on my car. its a harsh world for mustang owners.

People are always trying to cut in front or beat you away from a stoplight. If someone is riding with me I tell them about it first, and then when you watch people do it its funny. Doesnt matter if its a kid or an old lady, everyones compelled to get in front of you, show you just what their Camry can do!

it happends.. people rev at me all the time but i just tap the gas to 3k rpm then i dont hear anyone revving anymore

this has happen to me 2 times now.......rough lookin redneck in a mini-van hollarin out the window, sayin rev it up or get on it or some stupid shit, the best was the one that was hollarin get on it and then he gas chokes his mini van

Not me. Whenever I had my 06 I would get commiplents all the time when I was parked and people would give me thumbs up on the highways. Must be an Oklahoma thing, you need to move to Indiana...

i get mostly compliments, but i do deal with the occasional asshole who has to ride my ass while i'm doing 10 over the speed limit. i usually just let off the gas to piss them off worse. then i speed up when they try to pass me so they have to get behind me again. i know, i'm an asshole. i'm gonna get shot at one of these days...

I guess its all about location. People here they complement me every now and then when I'm outside washing the car. (poor suckers don't even know its just a six...)
But occasionally the most I get shit from ricers, like they want to race and do something stupid but I let them do whatever they want unless I'm in the mood to squash them.

damn that sucks living with that constant worry . down here there is to many fords or any other car for that matter (LA) . nothing happend to my mustangs cept door dings and rock chips ? but my first car (focus) someone scratched my gas door and i drove and hit him . i went to a PD but they let me go lol

The only people I got crap from were ricers, everyone else was pretty nice.
The ricers try to cut me off, brake check me, rev, try to race ect. But when they find out you have a turbo v8, they back off |
