they just chek to make sure you have cats mufflers and all your light turn signals and stuff work and no cel is on thats all really

it's visual emmissions, and it's all of VA that has it not certain parts. I live in southern VA, and trust me...some shops LOVE to get you on the smallest of stuff and say it's emissions.
It's just a quick check that theres no leaks, you have your cats...and thats about it.

No emissions testing whatsoever. Only thing cops can get me for is exhibition of speed (being too loud) and I dont htink theyll do it. The cops here generally like muscle cars and hate the rices. Ive had 5 of my ricer friends get that ticket, but not a single muscle car guy and one owns a 70 Nova that normally runs open longtubes...
