It is because of Walmart that there are no more Mom and Pop shops. They get put out of business because Walmart comes in with lower prices, and the family owned business can't compete and close. It is sad. Fuck Walmart.

I hate Walmart. I do all the shopping I can elsewhere. But, the thing is, you can't beat there prices when it comes to almost anything. The onlything I don't buy there is quality electronics because the return policies blows huge goats. Plus, half the time the shit you get from walmart breaks even though its says its the "real" thing. This happend to be three times with this item. But I get the "Same" electronic product from somewhere else and it has lasted be three years. ( HP LCD Monitor ) I ended up buying a new one from Office Depot and I've had it for 3 years no problems.


Bottom line. They pay the gov't the most, therefore they get to open as many stores as they want, wherever they want and keep there prices low. Reminds me of Casino's. LoL

hell no people there dont aknowledge your presence you know that hahhaha. i got a buddy that works there thats about it. the only friendly person there is this one night time greater whos handicaped. its pretty sad when the only friendly person at the place has mental disabilities while all the normal people think their shit dont stink because they work at fucking walmart. when did working there become a status symbol

reason why their shit is cheap is because most of their goods are made in sweatshops all over the world and slave labor wages, treating people like shit, forcing young women to take birth control drugs, forcing them to work from sunrise to sunset, forcing them to stay overnight if they didn't finish their daily quota. Making a purchase from one of these stores would mean that I am supporting the system of having these oppressed workers remain the way they currently are.

That is the reason as well why prices are so low too... since they bring down their prices, they also try to bring down their expenses as well.... whoever is willing to do the job at the cheapest price is the lucky sucker....

The thing that gets me about that place is on really busy days like black friday for instance... They will have more registers CLOSED than what they have open. It has been proven too that the Wal-Mart here in my town is the busiest one in the country. Memphis taxes are so high we get lots of peeps from there driving a few minutes across the state line to pay the lower MS sales tax. So that being said. Shopping at MY local Wal-Mart has become a sport. Last time I was there I got my few items tha I was cooking for dinner that night and went to one of the few check out lines. I got in one that looked pretty short. Turns out... the 80 y/o black lady I was behind had it figured out LOL. She brung what looked to be everyone of her grandcildren with her. She was standing there with a relatively empty basket. A kid ran up with a loaf of bread, turned around ran off, another kid ran up with 2 boxes of cereal dropped it in the basket and ran off, yet another kid ran up with some more crap....LOL This shit went on the whole 10 mins I was in line. By the time that old black lady got to the register. Her basket was full has hell. I promise she had 8 kids or more running her groceries. It triped me out though. Thats the way to "git er done" there! .... Walk in..... get a basket.... get in line to check out... and have about a dozen or so kids go get everything you need.
