BTW for anyone who hasn't figgered out yet. He went to shops and wanted to get his codes read, therefore the shop would count it as a diagnostic, so he would be paying the price of a system diagnostic.

it's common knowledge u can go to an autozone or pep boys and have them read it for free

i think it's retarded to charge someone 1hr labor to scan codes..... if ur gonna charge somone, $10 seems fair for 5 minutes worth of ur time

yeah at the dealership i work at we charge 87 dollars just to read it. haha. Its soo funny. people come in and they are like my CEL is on. and we look at it and it says GAS CAP on the tuner thing. haha. I feel so bad for these people. half the time they are old ladies or young teenage girls. (hot blonds) lol
