That sux.. I will have buy new ones but atleast this time I will get to pick the brand I want. When I bought the 98 it already had BBK LT's on it.. I am however gonna take the catback from the 98 and put it on my Mach1..

i was thinkin about getting my car repainted with a glossier paint and was thinkin about getting the stripe painted on do you guys think that will hurt the value

idk if you guys have heard but they say you can raise the shaker and get like 2 lbs of boost lol....but don't do it my buddy did it and he was at the track and since it was higher when he took off the shaker cracked the hood

Doc, you think that I'll break into high 11's when I run the car at the track this summer? I haven't ran the car since I went up to a 150 shot, and ported the intake, and adjusted my suspension. I'm also going to be running big and littles.

Yea I hope so. I ran 12.6 with a mid pipe and a 100 shot. Nothing else at all and it was an auto. I will drive up there and kick your ass if you don't. Just a little FYI the heads are getting finished tonite and the short block is being assembled tommorow. she should come to life next saturday. wish us luck

I wish you guys the best of luck. I have almost everything that I need for the build except for the cams. I just sold my snowmobile because I haven't started since I bought it. (Yeah, that is right. I bought a brand new sled, and never rode because I had to come to NC) and I almost have the Lightning finished, and ready for sale. Once the intercooler gets back it's gone. After that I'll be ready to start pulling the motor out.

Good luck with it. Get some good cams and valves. Thats the best advise I can give you. There is alot to be gained there. You need custom grinds.
