havin a noob moment...

how often does this thing need to be changed and how do u do it?

look in your manual and buy a fuel filter removal tool. they are cheap. the filter is located on your gas tank under the car.

60,000 miles, but i'd do it more than that. saves your pump, and a lot of gas mileage.

or just undo the two bolts that hold the holder to the under carriage, its damn easy.

Doesn't hurt to have it changed again, or at least you could inspect it to see if it needs to be changed. fuel filters aren't all that expensive though no? Might as well just change it.

They cost like 8 or 9 bucks i believe. I changed mine, and the old one was rusted.. so clogged you couldn't feel the air on the other side while blowing through it..

got me another 20-25 miles on a tank of gas.

yea mines up on the frame rail near the tank took nothing to do it just a lil gas on the floor and the shit we poured out of the old one was brown which i asume is not good

actually every 30k miles is should be changed.

Its very easy. just need some patience. when you use the tool press the clip in till it clicks the push it then out. youll figure it out.

the 2 c clips on the the ends can be removed with a flat tip screw driver.

MAKE SURE YOU DEPRESSURIZE THE FUEL SYSTEM
to do so unplug your inertia switch and turn the car on untill it dies out then youll be fine. itll drip a little bit and there will stil be a little fuel in the filter.

open the gas cap, and then take something and poke the valve on your fuel rail to depresserize it
