Jobs in Austin Texas | Monster.com

Hotjobs
Theladders
Salesjobs
Careerbuilder

The list of boards go's on and on. I've found about 20. Nothing works as well as taking a resume in to a potential employer in person but this gives you an idea of your market. Its a good place to start. Monster has a nice program to help build and manage a resume.

Also, check in the field you want to be in for "recruiters". Head hunters can be helpfull.
If you want to post what you want to do, I guarantee I can find you 5 jobs in your area that will at least consider your resume.

No worries. And dont be so hard on yourself. It can be as "advanced" as you want it to be. You are in control. You need to interview them as much as they need to interview you.

Check those boards and see if anything interests you. Get a resume and a cover letter together. Even a simple job at McDonalds can require a resume anymore.
With minimal experience you will need a compelling cover letter. DONT SELL YOURSELF SHORT! You may have a skill or the ambition a good paying employer is looking for right now.

If you want to be around cars you can get a sales person job at a dealer. If you look hard there are some that offer $200 to $300 salary plus commision. Good luck

+1... if you dont need the money tomorrow. School will give you some time to figure out what you really want to do.

I forgot what exactly this girl does but she has a kid and everything... apperantly before though she had been a desk secretary for a dental office and now shes working as something else and her job is paying for her education as well while shes working. You just have to look around and see if you can go to school and find a job relating to your major in order for you to see if they could pay for your education.

Life has many gems for it to offer you, you just have to turn over every stone to find them. I wish you luck on your search.

i have a bit of job experience....

I take care of my lil brother and an health organization pays me to do it (he has autism)

I used to work in a place like kinkos where we would copy papers but we worked exclusively for lawyers and lawfirms for their case documents and what not. you could work directly for the firm afterwards if you wanted to for about 12 bucks an hour more or less here instead of a small little shop at 8-9 bucks an hour.

and before that, I used to work with media equipment services at my old college fixing up audio/video equipment for class presentations or any basic computer help with hooking it up to the projector. anything media related.

I've always wanted a mustang since I was a lil kiddie. So now that I had the chance I got one lol. I'm looking to get another one sometime soon as well, most likely a fox.

I just read all these mustang and hot rod magazines and got into cars by doing that. Then I stumbled upon this site and read a lot around here and joined one day and here I am now.
