I'd probably say something along the lines of "Oooookaaaayyyy...." in a confused/'am I supposed to care what someone I don't even know thinks about my car' tone and go on about my business.

I live in a small town and I haven't heard of anyone talking shit, but I have had random people that I don't know come up to me and here is a couple of things I've heard:

In reference to my geared/bolt-on Z/28 "Yeah, I heard you were running a big shot of nitrous"-not true

In reference to my cammed/juiced SS "I heard you got a turbo setup of some kind"-not true

In reference to my cammed/juiced SS "I heard you were making over 600 to the wheels"-not true

I haven't had the Cobra long enough yet, but I can't wait to hear what people are saying about it. I guess when you live in a small town dominated by 14-15 second imports than a mildly modded LS1 probably seems like a world beater.

all the kids at school do that... I dont even know them, and then they call me out saying i know nothing about engines and cars... I tell them to line them up at the track with 100 dollars on the line and then we wills ee if they talk shit. Not one has even said anything back at me. I take my car very very seriously when it comes to people bitching and talking shit about it.
