Who hear knows what classic stangs are worth?
Well, I have been wanting to but another car for a project car,for me and my father to build. I came across a '69 Mach 1, non NOM 351C, auto, basically all it that's there is the chassis, engine, 9" rear, and half of the interior. This would be a resto project. I wanna paint it Azure Blue, and install a 428CJ. I don't know what it's worth, but the guy is asking $12,000 for it. I seen a complete '70 Mach, NOM 428CJ car that needed resto go for $32,000 about a year and a half ago. Is $12,000 a reasonable price, or is this guy nuts?

I think that's rather high unless what's left is in pretty damn good condition. 12k for a not-good-condition car seems pretty ridic regardless of the car... unless it's a super rare ferrari Le Mans or some weird and obscure shit.

I just recently sold my 1972 Mustang Grande with a load of work done for $5000.00 . . . to give you a better reference of pricing, check out :
Classic Car Values ? NADA Classics Pricing Information ? Car appraisal Book Values should give you a pretty decent idea of price to pay. |

Thanks bro, but if I buy a classic it's gotta be either a Boss or a Mach.

Oh this was like a year ago, haven't seen the car on the side of that road in awhile, but it sat out there for like 2 months with a for sale sign on it... I guess somebody finally snatched it up... was out on 415 over here...

needs picteures to really tell .. also, check things like floor pans, if it's basically a shitty rolling chassis, i wouldn't pay anywhere near 12k

The chassis was rust free, but it was missing alot. It's basically just the shell.

ok so, a rust free all original mach 1, that's ar olling chassis, with no interior or anything, i'd pay 3-4k tops. 5-7 if it looks really slick and won't need paint or anything (which is doubtful)
