i saw it once and it was okay, but the two guys couldnt agree on how many car lengths to spot each other and one cheated by using his hidden nitrous

No I was saying WTF? a little enthusiastic maybe? I have seen all the episodes(even know a couple of local guys that were on it. The first season was gay because you had to agree to let the loser buy the car back but now it is all legit so it is not as bad. If you had seen the first season you would have threw up in your mouth a little. Plus I can't get over the host, he is quality a grade A dumbass.

I don't watch much TV at all - maybe an hour a week or if I'm catching a big ballgame. Otherwise, not much of anything.

So when I find one that intrigues me, I don't mind crowing about it.

I don't know, I think it's cool. Folks are saying that the first season sucked and the second is much better. I don't even know if what I saw last night were reruns from the first, new ones from the first, or new ones from the second. Dudn't matter.

sAJ, I will NEVER be on that show!!! Too skeerd. I would die if I lost my car, man!! I've lost 2 drag races in my life (I choose carefully), and while I was graceful about it on the outside with no excuses, I was dying a thousand torturous deaths on the inside. Losing a race is bad enough - I couldn't handle losing the whole car. I'd be the idiot making a beeline for my car jumping curbs to get out of there.

But I sure don't mind watching others do it!

check it out - I just talked the host/creator/executive producer, Rich Christensen on the phone.

Totally cool dude, has it pulled together, knows the show needed to get better, and now that he has a little bank to expand with that second season, he's all about making if fly high.

He told me just now on the phone that the second season will blow the first away.

I bet they'll get celebrity grudge matches and stuff like that going, have a totally live version, etc. See Jay Leno put his Ford GT up agains Tim the Toolman's blown Hemi.

I'm telling you, this show is going to be huge and I love it.

well he may not personally be gay, but what im getting at is every time I have watched it the negotiations part was pretty corny, I think it is a good concept for a show but he needs to kick it up a notch... hell i would rather watch joe rogan from fear factor host the show than him.

Well put. I think as the show grows, that would be cool to have a celebrity negotiator.

I talked to Rich on the phone, and he loves his show and is working to make it better, so I doubt he would give up the reins.
