I did it, I sold of my Banshee and I'm so sad... I had to...

Get away from my blues...

So I went out.....

Took a couple of deep breathes......

and....

I suddenly started feeling a little better....

Then I turned the key....

and I took off on this!

Beautiful bike. I really wanted an R1, and almost bought one last year until I got an insurance quote. Unfortunately, as much fun as they are I've decided to not purchase a bike again, ever.

I have a 30 day permit to study and take the test I rode it home, get the tags, paperwork and stuff on Monday. (its paid for now tho, I have the bill of sale and reciept) The Salesman's wife is graduateing from nursing school tonight, so he had to take off early. So he let me take it home so I can drool over it all weekend lol. *don't know if I should hit him or hug him* but either way its my bike and I am loving it.
More pics to come...as the days go by

Ya, I had a dirt bike forever, got rid of it, came to college got the fourwheeler, sold it and got the r6. I love it. Probably is the one thing I've ever bought that I am just so amped about. I loved getting the stang don't get me wrong, but this is a different feeling

Just a word of advice from one rider to the next. It doesnt matter what you say now, once you get comfortable you wil get more ballsy. You may not be riding wheelies and doing tricks but you WILL find yourself pushing corners and testing your ability (trust me, you will). BE CAREFFUL!! You have probably heard this a million times already just since you got the bike but its the other drivers out there that you have to watch out for. With that being said, go out and get you some leathers (I wish I would have sooner) and burn up the roads before it gets too cold to ride. Sweet bike.

If youre going for performance, go with a full header and pipe instead of just a slip on. It will be worth it. After that get a K&N and have it reprogramed. You will be very happy with that. The full header will be expensive for a four cylinder bike but worth it. I got a Yoshimura on mine and I know a few people that spent the money for a Yoshi and they all love em.

I was loing at the members map and did not realize just how close you are to me. I would be willing to bet that the pictures you posted on your Banshee are from the Little Sahara park in Oklahoma.

I am with bossman. A bike like that will kill you. Thats why I got a Harley. I will still kill you, but it not a bike you see how fast it will go. You don't care.

Hey, its a nice bike and I would like to have it, but I would kill myself and I know it.
