Okay, so girlfriend "problem"

Soo.. I've been going out with this girl for a little over a month now. We live about 45 minutes away. She wants to hang out every single day and wants to talk for every freaking minute that we're not together.

So anyways, I told her this morning that I need my space and pretty much told her flat out that I didn't want to talk to her today. Except i was nicer(is that a word?) about it. She keeps calling me and texting me and it's reallllly starting to get on my nerves.

She is definitely one of the (if not the..) nicest girls I have ever known. Everyone loves having her around and she's shared a lot with me. But she does get on my nerves about a lot of things and it's gotten to the point where I just don't want to talk to her that much at all. And she gets really emotional and i'm not like that at all. She says that she "NEEDS" me and that she's nothing without me and that I'm the only one for her and she "CAN'T" live without me, but I don't feel the same way at all after only a month and a half. She's a lot more attatched and I think it's because she doesn't have too many friends at school or anything and she feels lonely. And she doesn't have that much experience with boyfriends. But it's not because she's weird or anything at ALL, she's literally too nice for all the other teenage bitches lol

It's just gotten to be too much for me. I've been pondering weather or not to break up with her, and also thought it'd be good to give it more time. What would you all advise? I'm kinda stuck..

my ex was one of those girls that hated talking to me, and just wanted to be alone half the time, i would trade that girl for my ex in a second.

yeah shes just a clinger. like others have said, dont break it off just yet over this. open up and tell her exactly how you feel about the situation. tell her its just a little much right now and you need your space. tell her your being smothered and tell her what will happen if she continues to do what shes doing, and if she does continue, follow through on what you said, but dont shut her out completely.

and it sounds like she like you too (duh). anyways I deff say dont break up with her. just talk to her about it. tell her how you really feel (Dont bull shit her though) tell her you like her and are glad she wants to see you so much, but your a guy and you need guy time. and if that dosent work and you feel uncomfterable and not happy then ya I would say break it off. every girl knows there guy needs guy time (well maybe not every girl haha)

If ya'll really like each other i say work around your problems and see if you could make a solution out of it. She doesn't have many friends? Try going out with her with groups of friends (like some guys and their girls) so that she could interact with them as well and have more people she could hang out with. Take her to social places and what not so that way when you want to hang out with your friends or just have some time to yourself, she could spend some time with some friends she just made.

The best way you could tell her that you need some time to spend without her is to tell her straight. say something on the lines of "hey babe, I hope you would understand that I feel that I want to spend my day today with a couple of friends and catch up with them, I won't do anything wrong or anything on those lines, but I'll dedicate some time with you next time ok?"

As attached as she is to you, both of you are going to need to dedicate some time away from each other.
