4.10s are iN!
ME and my buddy got the gears installed. They are dead silent except for when i am slowing down going from 50 to 40mph, they whine. I think that this might be them breaking in. As of right now, i am calling this a success. I love the gears!!

they are going to make noise at first. They have to break in.
It really wasnt that bad. Just have to measure the backlash right and see where the gears ride/ |

what kind of gear did you get?
some of them do whine a little bit. also you should take it easy on them for a little while shit I don't mind a gear whine I usually have the radio up anyway congrats

I did do them with myself and a friend. I work at a body shop though so we had a lift making everything very easy to get at. They are FRPP 4.10s. You need all the basic tools plus like a runout dial to check backlash and a puller for the bearing. I dont have a pics. But i could probly walk you through it
