Last Night Was Horrible..

..I was driving down the highway after going to 39th for a little bit, and i was heading to my friends stevens house. Along the way my car started bogging like it wanted to die. I try to keep it alive by pressing the gas and the car would rev up but it wouldnt speed up just coasted there. So after 30 seconds of trying to keep it alive it finally died and i had to pull over. I tried starting it and when i did it would crank over but it would never stay on it would just shut off again and again and again... So after awhile i went to the trunk and pressed the button for the fuel system, a little bit more progress but still wouldnt stay on. So i called the tow truck and now its sitting at my dads work until tomorrow to be worked on. Im thinking its the fuel system thats fucked up somewhere but who knows.. Any ideas?

And also i plan on fixing it, stripping it, selling it, then buying a cobra.

Check the fuel filter, then the fuel pump, then check your sensors, and your tuner if you have one. Work your way down the list. Let us know when you know more.

Start by checking for spark. It could be a bad coil pack. If you have spark, it's likely a fuel issue, either a bad injector or bad fuel pump.

i had the same problem once, my CAI came off the throttle body and was letting air in after the MAF so it would start but when i pushed the gas it would shut off.

+1. I had the same symptoms. Mine was a vacuum leak after the maf.

Could be something simple Stang... dont thrash it yet. FM1 is right, start with the simple shit and work your way back. you should be able to find it.
