Its the f'n Movie Companies who do this. They destroy a lot of cars just to get the right 5 second clip. Dukes of Hazzard, both show and movie, how many Charger's did they destroy? Tokyo Drift, how many 67 fastbacks? (Pictured in a mag I own, they had like 8 to 11 67's in it) Some make good clips and movies with, BUT they could at least find a better stunt man to drive them!

Shows, movies, they'll all destroy anything they want to make the right picture for you to watch.

Even so, how many will they destroy in commericals? Allstate Insurance commericals, they do it to anything looking new.

I don't understand why you're so pissed off that they destroy REPLICA vehicles, vehicles that are worth face value. It cost 20k to build, it's worth 20k.

Allstate commercials? You realize they used salvaged cars, cars that aren't fit to be driven on the roads in the US, and even some wrecked cars they pull from yards, right? How many of those cars in those commercials do you see EVERY angle of the car?

Also, you do realize that all automakers build cars specifically for the purpose of wrecking them, right? How do you think they find out the crash test ratings?

You really think they buy brand spanking new $25,000-$40,000 cars just to wreck them for a commercial?

Same thing with the VW commercials.
