i know why my car is slow

i made a thread in the 5.0 section about my 1990 LX 5.0 being so much slower than my 1992 LX 5.0, and now that i know why, i feel we todd did. my '92 has 3.27 gears and my '90 has 2.73 gears

yeah.. 2.73's do suck.. i gota get my 3.73's in.

my '90 LX came with FRPP 4.10's, but i'm probably going to trade them for 3.73's

A lot of people say they're more happy with 4.10 then 3.73's. I suppose it's what you want the car for. 90% time its street, so i Just got 3.73.

yeah, people say 4.10's are perfect for newer mustangs, but they're a little too much for 5.0 mustangs. this car is just going to be my toy, so i might try out the 4.10's just for shits and giggles since it's not a daily driver

i had 4.10s in my 91 lx. i did about 30 miles of highway driving and it wasnt bad at all. i loved the 4.10s

well atleast you are still faster than this car that passed me yesterday, it had 4 mexicans in it an there was a stcke on he window that said "rice rocket"
